About this Event
Join outdoor & wild swim specialist Angela Jones & her water safety team on the Monmouthshire & Brecon Canal for an afternoon kayaking and exploring the beautiful, calm waters. Enjoy the safety of the calm canal waters and paddle this stunning waterway.

- Kayak event led by highly qualified & fully insured outdoor adventure expert Angela Jones

- Guidance on paddle techniques
- Coaching for duration of kayak along Monmouthshire & Brecon Canal

- 12noon
- Bridge 76, Pencroesoped, Llanover, Abergavenny NP7 9EL
- Park at meeting place alongside canal
Equipment & What you need to take part
- Arrive in warm, casual training clothes - trousers and a long sleeve top & jumper / fleece
- Waterproof jacket (essential)
- Bobblehat (essential)
- Gloves (advised)
- Suitable sensible footwear with a good grip (essential)
- Towel
Staying Covid Safe
Swim Wild Wye are working within the latest government guidelines to keep everyone safe. In light of the recent rise in cases and localised lockdowns please be aware:
- All Swim Wild Wye events are held outdoors in small group settings
- Equipment hire (kayak, paddle and life jacket) are available - these are wiped clean before each use
- We encourage you to maintain a safe social distance at all times
- Hand sanitiser will be available at each event, however please bring your own if you prefer
- Please do not attend any Swim Wild Wye event if you, or a member of your household, are displaying any Covid related symptoms
- Please do not attend any Swim Wild Wye event if you are coming from any of the lockdown counties
