Event description
Hosted by the United Society Partners in the Gospel in partnership with Side by Side: Faith Movement for Gender Justice.

About this Event

How can we jointly raise the voice of faith actors working for gender justice at the United Nations Commission on the Status of Women (UNCSW)?

How can we strengthen our advocacy work with local, national and international actors at UNCSW and beyond?

USPG in partnership with Side by Side are hosting two workshops.

Our facilitators are grassroots gender activists from Jamaica, who have been engaged with UNCSW for over two decades, with incredible success, including law and policy reformation. Key experiences will also be shared from faith actors from around the world.

Join us for workshops of collaboration: get advice on how best to engage with governments, share your experiences and network with faith actors from around the world, communities and organisations.

There is two parts to the workshop. You can come to one or both. Please remember to register for one or both.

Workshop 1 | Sunday 10th March 2019 | 16:00 - 19:00

Workshop 2 | Monday 11th March 2019 | 14:00 - 17:00
