This interactive workshop will focus on raising awareness to the VCSE of safeguarding issues across the area for both children and adults. This will include developing excellent safeguarding cultures within these settings. We will discuss wider issues such as exploitation, Modern-Day Slavery, Prevent, Domestic Abuse (this will be dependent upon what our VCSE would like at the workshop).

There will also be opportunities to gather feedback from attendees for future development.

The session will be presented by Detty Tyler, Margaret Wood and Marie Chappell.

This session is open to professionals - with a main focus on those within the voluntary, community, social enterprise or faith sector. Members of the public are also welcome to attend.
