Keeping the Church Family Safe (KCFS) Training, Area 6, London

This training workshops aims to provide attendees with the skills to work safely with children, young people and vulnerable adults within the context of the church and pathfinder programme. The programme will begin at 10am and end at 4pm with a short 30 min lunch break. There will be an opportunity for interactive discussions and Q&A. The day will involve a written assessment of knowledge which will be marked by the SEC trainer Liz Forde. Liz is a qualified social worker having worked within front line children services as a child protection practitioner in excess of 20+ year. Liz is currently working within management in CP services and has done so at different levels for a number of years. She aims to encourage interaction and will check understanding during the session. Papers will be marked and certificates provided within 4 weeks from the 16th July 2017.
There will be a small registration fee of £8.00 to cover the cost of all resources and a light lunch. Places will go quickly so register your interest as soon as possible.
Parking is difficult around this area so you are advised to take public transport if possible.
