Event description

Description

Most of us were trained to do long-term work, but all Employee Assistance Agencies are requiring counsellors who are willing and able to do shorter-term and time-limited work. Successfully obtaining, managing, and keeping this agency work seems an essential skill for private practitioners who wish to enjoy a moderate income. And the ability to work short-term is also extremely useful, enabling counsellors to engage more productively with clients who have limited budgets or who are unwilling to pay for lengthy counselling.

  • How can I get work from Employee Assistance Agencies and Rehabilitation Agencies and others?
  • What kind of contract and paperwork requirements can I expect?
  • How can I adapt my existing model or incorporate useful techniques from others?

This training day will provide nitty-gritty, practical answers to the above questions. It will also stimulate you to think about what you are already doing and how you might adapt it for shorter-term work.

Tea, coffee, and biscuits will be available throughout the day, but attendees will need to bring their own packed lunch.

Cost

£85 (only £75 if you book and pay before 03/03/18).
