A 45 minute film including a short welcome from Emily Schoelzel and Q&A from filmmakers Hannah Maia and Max Christopher.

Hannah Maia joined Keewaydin Temagami's section two girls on trip back in summer 2019 and this film tells the story of both her experiences and the girls as they tripped along the Eastmain River.

"A film about a traditional, slow, strenuous and all female canoe tripping adventure. A counter-cultural summer spent exploring their physical surroundings and inner selves free from mainstream society’s expectations."

Wood on Water has been in production for over two years. We've had the support of friends and canoe enthusiasts via our successful Kickstarter campaign, private donors and brand support from NRS to get here. Finally we are very excited to share it with the Keewaydin community before its public launch later this summer.
