This initial course is 4 DAYS in length (2 weekends).
Volunteer CFR training on the weekends of:
Saturday 22nd and Sunday 23rd February 2020
Saturday 29th February and Sunday 1st March 2020
Please note, there are NO training days through the week.
By booking on this training course you are confirming that you can attend the course at Kendal as per the dates above.

Directions/Parking information:
From M6 Junction 36 at roundabout, take 1st exit on to A590 - 0.2 mi
At roundabout, take 2nd exit - 3.3 mi
Keep straight on to A591 - 2.1 mi
Take slip road left and follow signs to A6 - 440 ft.
Keep straight on to A6 - 0.3 mi
At roundabout, take 1st exit - 1.5 mi
Arrive at A6 / Highgate - The Mintworks
The last intersection is Captain French Lane
If you reach Haygarth Court, you've gone too far
CAR PARKING
Car parks to use are the Westmorland shopping centre car park get in before 9am and pay £1.50 a day. There is also a car park is on Dowkers lane and a car park at the brewery right next to Mintworks but that is expensive for the day.
Timings
Timings for the day will be 09:00hrs for refreshments, with the course starting promptly at 09.30hrs until 17:00hrs each day.
Training
This will be carried out by Field Trainers.The Final Assessment will be carried out by different clinical personnel from North West Ambulance Service.
•All training equipment and manuals will be provided. You only need bring a pen and notebook.
•Please bring your original DBS Certificate.
•You are advised to wear practical clothes which do not restrict movement; a considerable amount of time will be spent on practical work, including working on the floor. Trousers and polo shirts would be advisable.
•Once the assessment has taken place you will be issued with a certificate and ID badge. We will forward your details to the Team Leader for your team & they will contact you to arrange for you to spend some time with the team.
PLEASE ENSURE YOU HAVE COMPLETED THE PRE COURSE ONLINE MODULES PRIOR TO ATTENDING THIS COURSE YOU WILL NOT BE ABLE TO PARTAKE IN CFR TRAINING UNLESS ALL THESE MODULES ARE COMPLETE.
Refreshments
Coffee or tea will be available at no cost but please bring your own mug. There are facilities for providing lunch and local shops.
