Do I have to drive to be a KSAR member?

Yes and have access to a vehicle.

Do I have to be 18 or more?

Yes, we cannot accept anyone not 18 at the start of the intake.

Is there an upper age limit?

No, but you will need to be able to pass our occupational fitness assessment.

Come join us for a fun and informative session at Kent Police Training College in Maidstone! Our Search and Rescue team will be showcasing their skills and equipment in an exciting Show and Tell event. Learn how we locate missing persons, conduct rescues, and keep your community safe.

This event is a pre-cursor to inviting applications for operational membership. Find out what we do and how we do it, then if you are still interested you can apply to become one of the team. We are accepting a maximum of 30 people this year to join us and being at this event will enable you to make an application if you wish.
