Welcome to Kentish Afternoon Tea with a difference! Join us at the beautiful Hempstead House Hotel & Spa for a delightful afternoon filled with unique treats and surprises.
What’s on in Kent are pleased to bring you about another Networking with a difference event and this time it is with our partner Hempstead House hotel. It’s a lovely hotel that boasts a swimming pool, sauna, jacuzzi, beautifully decorated bedrooms, fine dining, they have various events on throughout the year, and so much more.
They also provide a lovely traditional afternoon tea with jam clotted cream and home-made scones. This time we have been invited to try our hand at home baking by their master pastry chef and we will be making our very own scones. Once the mix of scones has been created and put in the oven, we will then be going outside to their garden to have a taster lesson about foraging and discovering and learning about the values and nutrients of the plants, leaves and berries with our expert nature lover Claire Bates. Claire is also a yoga teacher and the hotel have kindly offered a space where we can try a yoga taster session.
After this we will be going back inside to enjoy our afternoon tea with what we have created and maybe able to try some extra ingredients with what we have foraged.
As an addition, if the weather is good and you have a car that is your pride and joy that you would like to bring it along, then we would love to see it!
