About this event

All civil society organisations have one thing in common: we are collectively working towards a society we all want to live in. This change can happen through creating policy influence on a local and national scale, no matter the size of your organisation. But sometimes it can feel a little daunting and overwhelming of not knowing where to start with making a difference and the communities you advocate for.Join us with Christabelle Quaynor, Policy and Influence Officer at Voice4Change England, where we discuss:

  • Understanding local governance
  • The steps to getting your policy work into parliament
  • Understanding the policy ecosystem
  • Organisational policy
  • Approaches to policy research
  • The importance of storytelling for policy advocacy

Christabelle is committed to addressing social inequalities and analysing the entrenched social structures that hinder equitability. Her key policy areas include affordable housing for all, regulating the private rental sector, addressing structural inequalities, intersectionality, ethnicity pay gaps, equality in the workplace, and human rights. On a part-time basis, she has undertaken research work for the Home Truths 2: Race Equity Series programme in partnership with ACEVO and Voice 4 Change England, which addresses and challenges transformative actions to achieve race equity in civil society.

The deadline to register for this session is 5pm Sunday 19th April 2026.

This webinar is part of our Catalyst programme, funded by The National Lottery Community Fund and the City Bridge Foundation.
