Key Stage 3: Communication Across the Curriculum - Developing Communication Skills in History
Key Stage 3 teachers are invited to attend a half-day session in October.
Purpose of the Sessions
To provide teachers with a solid approach to developing Communication, within their area of learning, through appropriate teaching, learning and assessment. This session will:
- identify how developing the Cross-Curricular skill of Communication can lead to improved outcomes in this subject area;
- explore opportunities for developing Communication Skills within existing schemes of work; and
- provide opportunities for professional dialogue with other teachers and with CCEA support officers.
Book a Place
Registration is now open and will close approximately 5 days prior to each event.
Places are available on a ‘first-come, first-served’ basis. Please note if more than one teacher wishes to attend, each teacher must register separately.
If a place is not available at your chosen session please email firstname.lastname@example.org with your name, school, DENI/centre number and chosen session to add your name to a reserve list.
Please note that a half-day teacher release is available. The code will be provided within the confirmation email.
