Key Stage 3: Using Mathematics Across the Curriculum: Teaching, Learning and Assessment Session for Geography Teachers
Key Stage 3 teachers are invited to attend a half-day session in October.
Purpose of the Session
To provide teachers with a solid approach to developing Using Mathematics, within their area of learning, through appropriate teaching, learning and assessment.
During this session, teachers will also:
- receive guidance on how to develop the Cross-Curricular skill of Using Mathematics, in the line with the statutory curriculum;
- explore examples of Using Mathematics within their subject; and
- work directly with CCEA personnel to identify how to develop Using Mathematics through their own teaching and learning.
Book a Place
Registration is now open and will close approximately 5 days prior to each event.
Places are available on a ‘first-come, first-served’ basis. Please note if more than one teacher wishes to attend, each teacher must register separately.
If a place is not available at your chosen session please email firstname.lastname@example.org with your name, school, DENI/centre number and chosen session to add your name to a reserve list.
Please note that a half-day teacher release is available. The code will be provided within the confirmation email.
