How will the growth of the global population affect international crime and justice?

International Criminal Court (ICC) Judge, Sir Howard Morrison, will introduce the history of the International Criminal Court and discuss some of its challenges. He will talk about how an expanding population might lead to further international tensions, and discuss how international criminal law may need to expand to tackle environmental and transnational corporate offending.


About the speaker

ICC Judge Morrison KCMG, CBE, QC, is a British lawyer and, since 2011, a Judge of the International Criminal Court based in The Hague, Netherlands.
