Keys to the Engine
Thu 24 November 2016, 08:00 – 13:00 GMT
Property entrepreneur Tom Bloxham MBE will be a keynote speaker at the forthcoming Downtown in Business ‘Keys to the Engine’ conference.
Recognised as one of the most innovative personalities in the property and regeneration space, the Urban Splash boss has experience of working across the UK, and his development portfolio includes the Rotunda and Fort Dunlop sites in Birmingham.
Tom understands the power of branding and he will be able to share his thoughts on regional identity, something of critical importance as the West Midlands or Greater Birmingham brand continues to establish itself and competes for national and international recognition and investment.
The November event, which will take place at city centre venue the studio, will also feature contributions from Mark Rogers, the chief executive of Birmingham City Council; Birmingham Airport chief executive Paul Kehoe and Laura Shoaf, the new managing director of Transport for West Midlands.
Focussing on the opportunities and challenges that devolution and a regional mayor will bring, the half- day event will offer a discussion forum to debate the big issues facing Greater Birmingham with leading decision makers and business leaders.
