The award winning Association for Project Management is holding an evening titled ‘Kick-starting your career in Project Management’ at the University of Hertfordshire on Monday 14th November from 18:00 until 20:00. The event provides an excellent opportunity to find out more information about the APM and careers in project management.

The evening will feature alumni from the University of Hertfodrshire presenting their top tips on the key skills required in the early stages of a career in the profession: Sagal Dirie, Project Manager, Transport for London, Anny Levett, Assistant Project Manager, CPC Project Services LLP and Jay Ward, Signalling Project Manager at Transport for London. There also be an opportunity to ask questions about their experience and achievements.

Following this there will be a talk from Vince Hines, Director of Wellingtone, a specialist project management company, about careers in Project Management. His talk will cover the different career paths, the selection process and salaries within the profession.

Project management is a brilliant career choice for students studying a variety of degrees. So, if a career in project management isn’t something you had previously considered, this is your opportunity to meet Project Management Professionals to find out more.

Food will be available and attendees are encouraged to take the opportunity to network with young professionals and likeminded people.
