Since the Government launched the £2b Kickstart Scheme as part of their ‘Plan for Jobs’ Learning Curve Group (LCG) have utilised the scheme ourselves, we are also an approved gateway organisation for businesses.

So far we have recruited over 20 kickstart employees into various roles across the business, from marketing, HR and health and safety which are industries that traditionally require higher level qualifications to enter so, the ability to utilise the scheme start people off on long term successful careers was a great way for us to help young people.

Meet the Panel

Faye Mullen

Faye has 10 years experience of working with employers to support their business develop existing staff and new talent including Apprenticeships, Traineeships, Pre-Employment and Commercial Training. Faye is fully aware of how businesses operate and can benefit from the Kickstart Scheme.

Steve Morris

Steve has over 20 years’ experience in training, recruitment and HR, Steve knows the industry inside out. His role as Commercial Director at Learning Curve Group involves working with employers to support the implementation of the vast array of options available when it comes to education and training. His knowledge of the sector means he can support employer partners to identify any training needs and really work with them to narrow any skills gaps within their organisation.

Casey Bullen

Casey has worked in the recruitment sector since 2013 and is a strong advocate for the Kickstart Scheme having experienced first hand the value its added to the individuals and the business. Casey will be joining the webinar to discuss her experience and why she thinks this is one of the most valuable work schemes to date.

Roisin Clausen

After only graduating Uni in July 2020, Roisin found it challenging to gain employment, more so during the pandemic. Find out more on her journey including how Roisin's work coach helped her secure her a "proper job" with Learning Curve Group

During the seminar we will be giving you more information on how we can:

• Administer the scheme on your behalf, combining applications from multiple organisations to hit the Government's need for at least 30 placement requests per application
• Provide the essential employability training needed to align with the scheme's funding requirements

This scheme will help open doors to a brighter future for a new generation and to ensure your business can bounce back stronger in the economy.
