KID APPROVED MEALS: HELPING YOUR CHILDREN WIDEN THEIR FOOD CHOICES AND IMPR...
Wed 30 November 2016, 11:00 – 12:30 GMT
Some children have very restricted diets or reject a large number of foods. This can make cooking family meals challenging and dinner times stressful.
If you are wondering whether your kids’ diet is nutritious enough, join Pilar Manzanaro, a registered Nutritional Therapist, and the PurpleCarrot team. At the workshop, the team will share tips on how to add nutritious foods to children’s diets, explore some techniques to broaden their tastes and introduce tried and tested family recipes that kids (and grown ups) will love!
Areas we will cover include:
What foods should I be giving my toddler?
How can I get my kids to try new things?
How can I get my kids to eat more fruit and vegetables?
What can I do to make my kids more interested in food?
The talk will be followed up by some Q&A time and a cooking demonstration for several tasty and nutritious kids-approved recipes
