******* Free Taster Session***********
Kidding Around Yoga is a great way for children (and adults) to enjoy movement, dance, fun and being still. As a recent graduate of the KAY yoga teaching school, I thought I would share the philosophy and the fun whilst consolidating my learning. There will be a regular class starting after Christmas and as atendees of the Taster session you will recieve a discount on further classes and Yoga Camp during the school holidays if you would like to join us again. We cater for children between 2 and 17 years of age.
How Yoga can help children and grown ups......
Children today live in a very fast-paced world. Between pressures from school, extra curricular activities, their peers, parents, and society, the hustle and bustle of every day life can quickly wear down on a child’s inner peace and joy. All of these pressures and expectations can lead to a whole lot of stress, and while most kids are not familiar with the concept of stress, they can still experience what it feels like without giving it a label or name. Learing how to have fun and also how to be still can help with stressful situations and give an outlet for energy as well.
Please bring a mat or blanket or towel to lay on during the class. If the class is really popular I am happy to put on a second taster class, please contact me.
Everyone is welcome, you dont have to be bendy or into meditation to join in. Just come with the intention of having fun for an hour. Refreshments will also be available at a nominal price with the proceeds going to Lagans Foundation, a Charity set up to support families with Children with Congenital Heart Defects and Feeding issues.
Peace begins with me.
