The Kideville Club
is a 3D design after school city design project for children aged 9 - 14. Designed by Kidesign
, it is an innovative, collaborative, crossdisciplinary and fun 3D printing curriculum developed for schools and education workshops.
Much like a game, each kid is assigned a creative mission, based on their interests, that takes them through a full design and project management process. The workshop leader curates this journey that includes research, ideation, sketching, CAD modelling, 3D printing and presenting. Kideville inspires children to obtain the skills and knowledge in STEM and pursue careers in design, technology and engineering.
The children will learn:
- research methods
- constructive thinking
- design process
- architecture and urbanism
- technical drawing
- 3D design and printing skills
The four-session program will be taking place from 17.00 - 19.00h on Wednesdays (15th March / 22nd March / 29th March / 5th April) at Kidesign's studio space at The Workshop
The price is of the course is £95 and participation in all four sessions is required.
Discounted fee for Lambeth Council residents is £85.
All tools, stationary and software are provided and included in the price.
