Kids Button Marionettes

Between 10am and Noon on Wednesday October 29th I will be hosting drop in sessions for parents and kids to make button marionettes!

These characterful little puppets are mostly pom-pom and buttons! You can either follow our pre set spooky designs or free-wheel with your little one as you string buttons, puff balls and craft sticks into your very own take home puppets. Finish off by decorating with googly eyes or paper cut claws and horns. Your final puppets will dance, wiggle and even fly!

This activity should take between 20-30 minutes. Time slots last for 30 minutes, you can make as many puppets as you like in the timeslot you book.

• 50mm pom-pom
• Small craft sticks
• Black waxed thread
• Yarn
• Buttons 
• Fabric squares
• Plastic wide eye kids craft needles 
• Tape
• Glue dots 
• Adhesive googly eyes
• Pre-cut paper pieces
• Pritt stick
• Crayons 
• Extra paper
• Safety scissors
