Welcome to Kids' Nature Camp! 🌿 Let's explore the wonders of nature together and learn how we can take positive action to protect it. With workshops twice a day on weekdays from Monday 28th July 2025 - Friday 8th August 2025 at Bridge of Earn Institute, there's something to engage and inspire your young explorer during the school holidays.

The workshops are suitable for children aged 6 - 10 years old and different themes run each day. No two sessions are the exactly the same as the topics are vast and varied. At the moment, the sessions are as follows (subject to change without notice):

  • July Monday 28th - Morning: Minibeasts, Afternoon: Coexistence - BOTH SOLD OUT!
  • July Tuesday 29th - Morning: Animal Habitats, Afternoon: Extinction MORNING SOLD OUT!
  • July Wednesday 30th - Morning: Birds of a Feather, Afternoon: Photography MORNING SOLD OUT!
  • July Thursday 31st - Morning: Minibeasts, Afternoon: Pondlife
  • Aug Friday 1st - Morning: Tremendous Trees, Afternoon: Forest Animals
  • Aug Monday 4th - Morning: Animal Adaptations, Afternoon: Minibeasts
  • Aug Tuesday 5th - Morning: Rainforest Adventure, Afternoon: Birds of a Feather
  • Aug Wednesday 6th - Morning: Nature Detectives, Afternoon: Tremendous Trees MORNING SOLD OUT!
  • Aug Thursday 7th - Morning: Photography, Afternoon: Planting for Nature
  • Aug Friday 8th - Morning: Pondlife, Afternoon: The Great Escape

Frequently asked questions

Where will the sessions take place?

We are based in The Earn Room at Bridge of Earn Institute, Station Road, PH2 9EA. Where possible, we will spend time outside at the local park and in the Institute's Garden. Please make sure your children have appropriate clothing for the weather.

How much is each session?

There are three different tickets available for each session, each with limited availability. Supporting Nature - Full Price | Supporting Nature - Donation Based | Gannochy Trust - Fully Funded. Please be honest and pay what you can afford to enable us to reach those who may find cost prohibitive.

When is Drop Off?

Morning Session: 9.15am - 9.30am | Afternoon Session: 12.45pm - 1.00pm

When is Pick Up?

Morning Session: 12noon | Afternoon Session (End of day): 3.30pm

What do we need to bring for each session?

Please bring/wear clothing & shoes suitable for outdoor and indoor activities. Sunscreen, hats etc are essential for sunny days. Children should have a water bottle with them each day and a snack for each session.

What are the sessions about?

There are broad themes for the sessions. Where a theme is repeated, the activities will be different to allow for children to attend more than one day. Currently, the sessions include: Birds, Minibeasts, Rainforests, Forest Animals, Trees, Animal Adaptations, Habitats, Nature Detectives & Pondlife.

Can we attend a full day?

Yes! Please book in to both the morning and afternoon session for the day required. If your child is staying for the full day, please make sure they have a nut-free packed lunch with them.

Who is this suitable for?

Children aged 6 - 10 years old with an interest in animals and nature.

What will we be doing?

Every session will be different and full of hands-on, engaging activities. There will be games, crafts, exploration and discussions. There will also be opportunities for free play and creativity.
