Can I stay with my child on the day?

Accepted Answer

This is a drop off/pick up event only. Adults are unable to stay with children throughout the event due to safeguarding policies. Our friendly staff will be on hand to provide any special assistance or requirements on the day at the event.

What are the start and end times of the event?

Drop off is at 9.30am and pick up is at 3 pm

What does my child need to bring?

Accepted Answer

Lunch, snacks and drinks for throughout the day. PLEASE AVOID SENDING YOUR CHILD WITH ANY NUT BASED PRODUCTS. When weather allows, we will run some activities outside- so please send your child with a warm coat.

Question 4

I need to cancel, can I get a refund?

Accepted Answer

Any cancellations over 7 days before the event will receive a full refund (minus card fees). For cancellations within 7 days will receive a credit note. Cancellations within 24 hours of the events will not receive a refund or credit note.

Question 5

Who are the staff at the event?

Accepted Answer

The Big Science Project staff are all scientists passionate about various science subjects! All staff have an enhanced DBS certificate, and are trained to work with children with various needs and requirements. Staff are  paediatric first aid trained.  Staff to child ratios are 1:10 at all events

What language will the event be delivered in?

Accepted Answer

At all of our events, children are offered activity books to work through in either Welsh or English. We endeavour to ensure a Welsh speaking member of staff is available to provide sessions bilingually, but we apologise that this isn't always possible for every event we run.
