We are pleased to announce that the Kilbroney Weekend (24 - 26 October 2025) is now open for bookings and we are really looking forward to welcoming young people (currently in Year 11 to Year 14) to this fun and faith-filled residential where we will look at what it means to be a disciple and being transformed from the new life to the abundant life.
Cost:
Cost per person is £75*.
We realise that this is an important opportunity for young people so if you or a family you know are struggling to pay this amount then please contact us about bursaries available.

WHAT WE WILL BE DOING
BIBLE TEACHING sessions will include worship, time to reflect and prayer. (There will also be an opportunity for anyone interested in worship to get involved with the worship group)
This year our 4 sessions will look at:
- One step at a time -the daily practice of being transformed in our faith.
- The more you do the better it gets -how constant faith becomes natural faith .
- When 'no' is better than 'yes' -How the things we practice not doing can change our lives.
- Standing still to get ahead -why remaining in Christ produces abundant life.
SMALL GROUPS is a time were we break into smaller groups to discuss what we have learned about life and God and to pray together.
GROUP ACTIVITIES will be activities and team challenges based around the Kilbroney centre and Rostrevor that young people will get to do together in groups.
EVENING ACTIVITIES including campfire, late night worship, ceilidh and other stuff we haven't thought of yet...!
BOOKING DETAILS:
Each place must be booked individually by a parent.
There is no need for attendees to have church leaders with them as we will provide a leadership team.
Cost is £75 with £25 required upon booking and the rest by the start of the residential.

Kilbroney Weekend is an initiative of the Diocese of Down and Dromore as part of our objective to support the faith of young people. Our aims for the weekend are to:
- Grow young people in their faith through providing bible study, devotions, worship & fellowship.
- Teach and develop skills in leadership, teamwork and in new activities.
- Build self-esteem, regard for others and friendships.
The Kilbroney Centre is one of the premier centres for youth groups in Northern Ireland. Accommodation includes meeting rooms, lounges, classrooms and a games room.
