Thank you for volunteering to be a leader on the Kilbroney Weekend 2025!
WHAT WE WILL BE DOING
BIBLE TEACHING sessions will include worship, time to reflect and prayer. Brandy is doing the talks and will provide a booklet for young people and some information for leaders on the sessions and small groups.
This year our 4 sessions will look at:
- One step at a time -the daily practice of being transformed in our faith.
- The more you do the better it gets -how constant faith becomes natural faith .
- When 'no' is better than 'yes' -How the things we practice not doing can change our lives.
- Standing still to get ahead -why remaining in Christ produces abundant life.
SMALL GROUPS : You'll be needed to co-lead a small group in discussion around the talks and also to encourage prayer. You'll also have a pastoral responsibility for those in your small group throughout the weekend.
GROUP ACTIVITIES: This wil mainly involve a Saturday afternoon challenges-type activity that will probably be split into the small groups and leaders.
EVENING ACTIVITIES: Campfire, worship 101 and maybe a ceilidh. As well as free time, board games and so on. The weekend is for slightly older teens (Yrs 11-14) so the leadership will be hopefully a bit more relaxed. However as there will be attendees there in final year of school we want the leaders to be aged 19 and over.
COST: Total cost for the weekend is £25.
