Event description

Description

Join us at Killhope Lead Mining Museum for a new monthly event. If Carlsberg did night photography workshops, they would be something like this one.

We already have a 10" Dobsonian telescope stored at Killhope for the group to use, but I'll also bring a selection of observation and astrophotography equipment. You are, of course, welcome to bring your own.

The Killhope site - the wheel, the museum buildings, the woods, will all be available to you, for all kinds of night photography (and light painting).

You're also welcome to bring a laptop, and whatever editing software you have, for support in editing night and astro images.

In the event of a cloudy night being forecast, I'll do my best to offer additional equipment / activities, but of course, you don't need a clear sky for the majority of night photography.

In the case of extreme weather being forecast, such as heavy rain, snow, fog, or winds, you will be able to transfer to the following month's event, free of charge. I'll make an email announcement about this, either way, a couple of nights before the workshop.

Your booking is non-refundable if you're unable to come (but it may possible to transfer it to someone else, upon request).

This is going to be the flagship event in my night photography programme. Hope you can make it!
