Hosted by The Insitute of Advanced Studies  under the theme Saving Humans, this workshop aims to explore the theoretical and practical questions raised by academic study and representation/s of the Kindertransports, through a dialogue between academics and practitioners.

Colleagues from History, Drama and Theatre Arts, History, German and Memory Studies will be joined by:

Mrs Lia Lesser who came as a child to Britain from Prague on one of the transports.

Andrea Hammel     (German Studies, University of Aberystwyth)

Marissia Fragkou   (Drama, Canterbury Christchurch University)

James Griffiths       (Director of Learning, The Holocaust Centre, Beth Shalom, Nottinghamshire)
