Event Details

An evening of inspiring adventure talks and film in London to help raise funds and awareness for refugees.

Mix with fellow kind strangers and our speakers by the bar and be inspired.

Kindness of Strangers is a platform for telling stories that make your heart grow.

We'll be announcing our speakers from the world of Film, TV and Adventure over the coming week. Check back regularily on our FB page for updates and announcements.

If you can't make it but still want to donate, you can choose to donate directly via this Eventbrite Ticket page too.

(All monetary costs of hosting the event will be covered by the hosts. A big software company who would prefer to remain nameless will be matching everything. To date you've raised over £20,000 for Oxfam's refugee appeals.)

Fearghal O'Nuallain, Daniel Martin & Rayleen Hillman

Fearghal (@re_ferg) is a Teacher and Explorer. He's been travelling long journeys by pedal, foot and paddle for over a decade; circumnavigating the globe by bike, walking across Rwanda, and tramping across Transylvania. He's just back from a four month journey following the Indus river through India and Pakistan and is gearing up to drive across Jordan in a Land Rover Discovery.

Daniel Martin (@danielmartinadv) a long distance cycle tourer, cold water swimmer, outdoors lover, Africaphile and a victim of wanderlust. Dan cycled to Cape Town twice. Once from London and once from South Korea. He's spent the last two years living and working in refugee camps in France and Greece.

Rayleen (@rayleenhillman) grew up in Africa before finding her way to the muddy shores of England where she now works in tech and likes to dabble in volunteering at home and abroad. 7 years ago, Ray's husband died from cancer. He hadn't time enough to see the world so Ray is exploring it for him with their daughter, working through the A-Z of countries. When she'd not doing that she like's to think she's living vicariously through Dan & Ferg's adventures!
