FAQs

1) How do I get to the venue?

Walk/Cycle: St James' Church, RG1 3HW, is at the Reading Jail / Abbey end of Forbury Gardens.

Rail: St James' Church, RG1 3HW is an 11 min / 0.5 mile walk from the train station, according to Google

Car: Disabled parking ONLY at the venue. The Oracle is your best bet for parking. Google puts that as a 6min, 0.3 mile walk. Or, book the Forbury's pre-theatre medieval menu and you can leave your car in their underground car park.

2) Is it warm in the church?

The heating is on permanently, but we advise jumpers.

3)  Is there a bar?

Yes. The bar is open before the show, at the interval and after the show. Here you'll also see the King Henry I of England themed art exhibition with Jelly and Reading Museum.

4) Do RBL do refunds?

We don't do refunds, but we can exchange tickets for another night as long as they're the same price and depending on availability.
