Description

This Twilight session will enable participants to provide support and guidance to students from under-represented backgrounds ahead of progressing to university, in particular King's College London.

This event is an exciting professional development opportunity, where you will experience the following intimate expert-led sessions:

Behavioural Insights in Education: Led by Raj Chande from the BI Team at the Cabinet Office, this session will provide King's Advocates with a knowledge of Behavioural Insights and demonstrate how it can be applied to enhance learning in an educational context.

Metacognition: Led by Joseph Collin from King's College London, this session will explore the importance of metacognitive skills and provide King's Advocates with a practical model of how develop them when working with young learners.

Project Grant Funding: Following this session, the second application window for project grant funding will open for King's Advocates.


Resources will be made available for participants after this Twilight event.
