Description

This Twilight session will enable you to provide support and guidance to students from disadvantaged and under-represented backgrounds ahead of progressing to university, in particular King's College London.

This event is an exciting professional development opportunity, where you will experience intimate expert-led sessions in a carousel format:

UCAS and Admissions (carousel): This session will provide a detailed insight into how King's advocates can support under-represeneted students to access university.

Student Finance (carousel): This session will provide King's advocates with information to navigate the student finance system to university for under-represented groups in particular.

Project Grant Funding: This session will inform participants about how begin to launch a widening participation initiative in the context of their roles and give guidance for funding from King's.


Resources will be made available for participants to inform their colleagues and students about the content in this Twilight Training event.

This event is open to teachers, social workers and members of staff at King's College London. Please share with friends and colleagues from these professions who may be interested in attending.
