King's College London's annual Advent Carol Services take place this year on Wednesday 30 November, and Thursday 1, and Friday 2 December. You can book tickets for Wednesday's service here; please see here for Thursday and here for Friday.
Tickets are free, but must be booked online in advance. We have increased the number of tickets available compared with the last couple of years, but we are still not quite up to pre-pandemic capacity in the Chapel, so apologies if all tickets have been booked by the time you try. There will be a waiting list, but this will be closed once it has reached its limit; if/when tickets are released to the waiting list, only one ticket at a time can be booked (this is because of the way the Eventbrite waiting list works).
Please be aware that the dates recently confirmed for national UCU strike action include Wednesday 30 November, so if you are able to book a ticket there may be picket lines outside the entrance to King's when you arrive. We therefore understand if you would prefer not to join us after all, given the circumstances.
Do note, though, that Wednesday’s service will also be livestreamed online via the Choir’s YouTube channel, which is another way of joining in this special occasion. As a result, Wednesday’s service will not start in near-darkness, as usual, because this doesn’t work very well on camera (although there will still be plenty of candles in the Chapel).

We will once again have a mulled wine and mince pies reception after the service, although for logistical reasons we will not be selling Choir CDs this year. These are available online via the King’s College London e-store
