Frequently asked questions

My baby has started crawling. Can I still attend?

Our sessions are focused on younger, non-mobile babies. They are not suitable for babies that are crawling or walking. Please visit our website www.westnorthants.gov.uk/strongstart to find out how else we can support you and your family.

Can I bring my older children along with me?

The sessions focus on the key messages for parents with non-mobile babies. For the safety of the babies attending we cannot offer places to older siblings.

Can I book on multiple baby massage programmes?

No, the content of the 4-week programme will be the same in each venue so we ask you to only book onto one programme to allow other families the opportunity to book on too.

Do I need to bring anything with me to the session?

Yes, please bring a soft mat or towel for your baby to lie on. It is also beneficial to bring an additional baby blanket or small towel which can be used to support your baby. We will not be using oils in the session so please do not bring any with you

Can I bring another adult with me?

Yes, but please book another ticket. Each ticket is for one adult and up to 2 children.

What should I dress my baby in?

Babies will be more comfortable in a body suit or baby grow. We will not undress babies for the massage within the session.
