Kinship Care Celebration Day - Science Museum London

Our annual kinship care celebration day brings families together and gives kinship carers and their children the chance to meet and connect with people in the same situation, and have a fun day out with the kids. This event is only open to kinship carers who are members of the Grandparents Plus Kinship Care Network.

At Grandparents Plus we believe in the importance of connecting kinship carers, many of whom experience loneliness and isolation as a result of stepping in to care for children. We'd like to thank the Family Holiday Association for funding this year's celebration and making it possible for kinship families to come together.

About the Science Museum

Award-winning exhibitions, iconic objects, and stories of incredible scientific achievement. Spend the day exploring 4 floors of fun and get access to the ticketed Wonderlab exhibition, with over 50 mind-blowing exhibits, shows, and demonstrations to enjoy.

Bring a packed lunch or purchase somethnig from the cafe and join us in the picnic area for lunch.

Booking

Entry to the museum and Wonderlab exhibition is FREE to kinship carers and their children. Places are limited and must be booked in advance. You can book up to 6 places per family and will be asked to pay a £5 refundable deposit for each adult ticket.
