The 8th Annual Kiwanis UK Convention - Holiday Inn Brighton Sea Front
An eclectic haven by the sea; Brighton and Hove is a city defined by its landscape sitting between the glorious South Downs and the sea.
Young or old there are attractions in Brighton for all... There's so much happening in Brighton & Hove you'll never be stuck for something to do (apart from Kiwanis business that is :).
From the stunning Royal Pavilion and Regency architecture to award winning restaurants; hearty walks on the South Downs to great museums, art galleries, nightlife and shopping, Brighton is a treasure trove of things to do and places to go.
Celebrating the efforts of Kiwanis UK and its members throughout the years. An opportunity to discover what Kiwanis is about- fun, fellowship and new ways to help make our communities and the world a better place..by serving our children. The iteniry for the convention includes the following:
Friday 11th August
- 1. Travel
- o Minibus (London to Brighton 11th August; Brighton to London 13th August). Departs London 12.15pm, Brighton 3pm.
- o Cost £20 per person return
- 2. Brighton Pier Family Fun –
- o rides wristband - £15 adults, £8 kids (optional, purchase at the gate)
- 3. Friendship Dinner – 7 pm:
- o Komedia – comedy show and 2 course meal £26.50
Saturday 12th August 2017
- 1. Convention day session
- o Holiday Inn – £25 per person (includes lunch, tea, coffee, juice)
Where the usual Kiwanis business will take place - looking at our achievements for 2016/17, saying farewell to the outgoing board of 2016/17, confirming the new board 2017/18 as well as nominating/voting for additions to the board such as Chair elect 2017/18.
- 2. Convention Gala Dinner – Holiday Inn
- o Holiday Inn –£35 per person, three course meal
There will be awards for recognition of service for Kiwanians, giveaways, raffle prizes, 80s photobooth and entertainment. Menu available upon request.
