Why do you have different tickets?

Our 'ticket tier system' allow us to safeguard our curated spaces, reinforcing the primary goal of highlighting, promoting and creating safer, intentional and intersectional spaces for Black queer, trans and non-binary individuals in the cities we operate in.

Where can I read your 'Safer Spaces' policy?

Accepted Answer

Our policy, first written in August 2021, is available on our Instagram page as a pinned post. This policy is due to change later this year, ahead of 2024, and as we are always gathering feedback from community members to improve their experiences in our spaces.

Can I access the space if I only donate?

Accepted Answer

Our 'donation' tier is NOT a ticket. In case you want to support our self-funded project, you can donate through that option. If you wish to attend this event, please buy one of the other alternative admissions available.

Question 4

How often are the residency sessions?

Accepted Answer

We will be hosting activities every two weeks. These activities range from sober spaces to workshops followed by socials where you can meet other people. The full programme will be unveiled as time goes.

Is the venue accessible?

Accepted Answer

There is step-free access from the high street to the bookshop, as well as a wheelchair-friendly washroom, however, the events space is not accessible. You can refer to the venue's accessibility statement here – https://www.commonpress.co.uk/location.
