Join us for a day of fun, food and fundraising for KMAC - Kiss My Ass Cancer!
Our wonderful friend Nicola has been battling cancer for 3 years and has recently been told that Cancer is going to win. But that will not stop her and it will not stop her friends and family fighting this dreadful disease while having fun and making the most of life together.
The Fun Day will be a celebration of life, family and friends. Our only request is that you have fun! Join us in the morning for a fund raising mini Triathlon at Astbury Mere (enter here: http://www.stuweb.co.uk/events/2016/09/24/2544/) where you can take part as an individual or a relay team or come and watch and cheer on our brave athletes to glory! Medals! T-Shirts and prizes! There will also be a children's fun run with medals and T-shirts to all finishers.
Then from 12.00 the fun day will start over on the grass in front of the main entrance.
There will be an inflatable It's a Knockout course for all to enjoy! We will be holding team races, heats and finals, forget the Olympics, this is REALLY important, who will be victorious?
There will also be Bouncy Castles, a live band, stalls selling cakes amongst other wares and best of all a fabulous high quality BBQ from 12-5pm!
The BBQ will be free once you have bought a fun day ticket, other games will be charged with all money going to the KMAC fund to support cancer res
earch at The Royal Marsden Hospital.

Terms and Conditions.
- DEFINITIONS AND INTERPRETATION
“Event” means the KMAC Family Fun Day, Saturday 24 September 2016 10.00 to 18.00
“Organiser” means any and all of: KMAC
“Ticket” means a ticket, electronic ticket, wristband or any other device giving the bearer the right to attend the Event.
“Venue” means Astbury Mere Country Park, Sandy Lane, CW12 4WO.
“you” / “your” means any person seeking admission to the Venue to attend the Event.
- HOW THESE TERMS WORK
2.1. Your admission to and conduct at the Event is governed by these Terms. By purchasing Tickets and/or entering or attempting to enter the Event, you will be taken to have accepted these Terms.
2.2. There may be additional Terms applicable to certain activities at the Event, which shall apply to you when participating in those activities.
2.3. These Terms may be amended from time to time, to reflect changes in the rules of admission, changes in health and safety and/or security procedures and/or changes in relevant laws and regulatory requirements.
2.4. These Terms are governed by English Law and any disputes arising under them are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the English Courts.
- YOUR TICKET AND ENTRY
3.1. If purchased before the day, your Ticket will be in the form of an electronic ticket. You must bring your Ticket with you to gain admission. Electronic tickets will then be swapped for a wristband. Wristbands may also be purchased on the day.
3.2. There will be no admission to the Event before the designated opening times.
3.3. Tickets cannot be cancelled or exchanged after purchase, nor duplicated if lost, but are transferrable if you can no longer attend the Event.
3.4. Ownership or possession of a Ticket does not confer any rights (by implication or otherwise) on you to use, alter, copy or otherwise deal with any of the symbols, trademarks, logos and/or intellectual property appearing on the Ticket or used in connection with the Event. Tickets may not be used for promotions, competitions, sweepstakes or for other commercial purposes without the prior written consent of the Organiser.
3.5. Eventbrite is our only authorised Ticket agent. Resale, or attempted resale or purchase of a Ticket other than via Eventbrite are grounds for seizure or cancellation of such Ticket without refund or other compensation.
3.6. Prohibited Items:
We reserve the right to prohibit within the Venue:
3.6.1. items which are or may be illegal. Anyone found in possession of illegal or contraband goods may also be liable for prosecution;
3.6.2. weapons, ammunition, explosives, horns, whistles, drums, fireworks, flagpoles, or any other item which in our reasonable opinion, may cause danger or disruption to any Event or to other visitors (regardless of whether or not such item is illegal or is carried for specific purposes).
ALCOHOL is not permitted at the Venue.
3.7. You are responsible for safeguarding your property when at the Venue and Organisers will have no liability for property that is lost, stolen or damaged when at the Event. All items left with stewards before entry into the Venue are left at your own risk.
3.8. You may not be permitted into the Event, or may be ejected from it, and required to surrender any Tickets you hold, without refund, if you refuse to leave a Prohibited Item (see section 3.6) with our stewards or if, in our reasonable opinion, you or your behaviour or any item you are carrying:
3.8.1. poses a health and safety risk;
3.8.2. affects the enjoyment of other visitors;
3.8.3. affects the running of the Event;
3.8.4. may cause damage to or interfere with the property the Venue or the;
3.8.5. is in breach of these Venue Terms; or
3.8.6. is illegal.
3.9. Readmission will be allowed provided that you present your wristband on re-entry.
4.1. Limited public parking is available at the Venue, subject to all applicable terms and conditions of use. You are encouraged to use public transport, car sharing or other methods of arrival, as parking cannot be guaranteed.
4.2. If using the parking facilities, please remember that a public car park is open to everyone. Accordingly the Organisers do not accept liability in respect of any loss, theft of or from, or damage to your vehicle.
- AGE RESTRICTIONS AND YOUNG PERSONS
5.1. All children aged 3 or over must have a Ticket in order to attend an Event.
5.2. Certain age restrictions will apply to activities, including (but not limited to): (i) All Triathlon entrants must be aged 16 or over; and (ii) All fun run participants under 8 must be accompanied by an adult aged 18 or over. Other age restrictions will be communicated on the day.
5.3. It is your responsibility to check the suitability of an Event and any activities for any children in your party regardless of official age restrictions, and no refunds will be provided in this regard.
6.1. You are required to observe and comply with all instructions given to you by Venue stewards and staff at the Event. Should you experience any problems while at the Event, please contact the nearest steward so that every reasonable effort can be made to resolve the issue prior to, or during the Event as complaints are very difficult to resolve after the Event.
6.2. All activity times are approximate and subject to change. No refunds will be payable and we will not be responsible for the cost of alternative travel arrangements or for any other loss you suffer (including loss of enjoyment) as a result of an Event not running to the precise advertised times.
6.3. CCTV and film cameras may be present at and around the Venue includes filming by the police or security staff carried out for the security of visitors, and filming and/or photography by Event Organisers. By purchasing a Ticket to the Event and/or attending the Event you give your express consent to all such filming and to your actual or simulated likeness being included within any film, photograph, audio and/or audiovisual recording (“Footage”), all rights in which will be owned by the Organisers or the relevant third party. You also agree that any such Footage may be used by us or the Organisers in any and all media for any purpose at any time throughout the world, including (with the exception of CCTV or security Footage) for commercial purposes, such as merchandising or DVDs, without payment or compensation to you.
- HEALTH AND SAFETY
7.1. In case of emergency please follow instructions and directions from stewards, staff and/or other officials.
7.2. Smoking is only permitted in designated parts of the Venue where indicated by signage.
7.3. If you have any specific access requirements, please contact us before purchasing Tickets, to ensure that we can accommodate your requirements. We may not be able to do so if you do not contact us in advance. - FOOD, BEVERAGE AND MERCHANDISE
8.1. Each Ticket will entitle the holder to one portion from the Event BBQ. A variety of other food and non-alcoholic beverages will be available for purchase within the Venue.
8.2. No food or beverages may be brought into the Event (except in limited circumstances on proven medical grounds).
8.3. You are not permitted to sell or offer for sale or distribute any items whilst at or in the environs of the Venue including, without limitation, merchandise, Tickets, food, beverages, cigarettes or smoking materials. You must not bring into the Event or distribute (whether for free or with a charge) any sponsorship, promotional or marketing materials nor any leaflets, signage or other materials containing religious or political messaging.
- CANCELLATION, POSTPONEMENT AND ALTERATIONS
9.1. An Organiser may make alterations to the Event which are not material in nature and no refunds will be available in respect of non-material alterations.
9.2. In the event of a cancellation, postponement or material alteration of an Event you may be entitled to a refund in and you must contact Eventbrite to request all refunds. Eventbrite may not make a refund if you fail to follow any instructions provide.
9.3. It is your responsibility to check the Facebook page or Eventbrite page for news of any cancellation, postponement or alteration of the Event. Information on such matters will be made available on behalf of the Organisers as soon as reasonably practicable.
THIS SECTION IS IMPORTANT AS IT SETS OUT THE LIMITS OF OUR LIABILITY TO YOU. PLEASE READ IT CAREFULLY
10.1. If the Organisers breach our obligations to you under these Terms or we are negligent and, as a result, you suffer any loss or damage in connection with your presence at the Event, you may be entitled to claim that loss from us, but: (a) we will only be liable for your loss or damage up to an amount equal to the face value of the Ticket; and (b) we will not be liable to you for loss or expenses incurred in connection with your visit to the Event, or its cancellation, such as the cost of any personal travel, accommodation or hospitality arrangements made in connection with the Event.
10.2. For the purposes of these Terms, “Force Majeure” means any cause beyond the Organisers’ control, including, without limitation, any act of God, war, insurrection, riot, civil disturbances, acts of terrorism, fire, explosion, flood, national mourning, theft of essential equipment, malicious damage, strike, lock out, weather, national defence requirements or acts or regulations of national or local governments. None of the Organisers will be liable to you under these Terms to the extent that the failure is cause by a Force Majeure event.
10.3. Notwithstanding paragraphs 10.1 and 10.2 above, nothing in these terms shall be construed as excluding or restricting our liability for death and/or personal injury caused by our negligence nor for any other form of liability that may not by law be limited.
