Discover the wonders of the Heath and it's Breckland habitat, by joining us at our community open day!
The day will host a range of activities suitable for adults and children. Delve into the world of the invertebrates with minibeast hunting, enjoy a stroll around the Nature Reserve with our Wardens, learn more about the Heath and how we manage the site to support Breckland species. There will also be the opportunity to discover how you can make a difference for wildlife at home.
Activities:
- river dipping at 11am (limited spaces available, pre-booking required)
- guided walk at 1pm (limited spaces available, pre-booking required)
- minibeast hunting (available all day; just turn up!)
- wildflower seed planting (available all day; just turn up!)
- games and more! (available all day; just turn up!)
Children must be accompanied by an adult.
Please note: car parking charges have been reinstated at Knettishall Heath. The carpark is managed by a separate company, and Suffolk Wildlife Trust will not be held accountable for any fines received should you not purchase a carparking ticket.
