A really special event
This will be a friendly evening of food, music, dance and a chance to welcome the young people and their youth leaders who are coming as part of the Beyond the Checkpoints visit to the UK.
Knighton has been welcoming CADFA's groups of Palestinian visitors ever since summer 2013. These are really special, memorable occasions - it's wonderful to see the young people who live under such stress enjoying this new experience so much. And there's always so much to learn from them.
We're looking forward to the visit of teenage Palestinians to Wales in September 2025 and particularly to their time in and around Knighton when they will meet young people, explore the local towns and countryside, make art and, we hope, thoroughly enjoy themselves. Do come along and join in the welcome to Knighton!
Donations/ help
Entry to the welcome meal will be by donation. If you would like to help with the event, for example with the food, please contact kate@cadfa.org. If you have any problem making a donation online, don't worry! You can bring your donation along on the day. But you do need to book in, either here or via kate@cadfa.org! Thanks and hope to see you.
