Inspired by the gallery’s ‘Images of Industry’ display and Leeds’ own history of wool and flax production we decided to get all industrious and try our hand at cloth-making.
In this family friendly workshop learn how to make cloth through knitting and weaving and take a humble cap off to the cloth makers of 18th Century Leeds.
This workshop is suitable for all ages and abilities but will focus particularly on the early stages of learning to knit and weave.
Activities for younger members of the family can be provided too! Just ask!
This is a free workshop but please remember that spaces are limited so booking is a must!
