Welcome to our in-person event at Manchester Wool & Yarn where you'll learn how to knit your very first sweater! Join us for a fun and informative sessions where you'll be guided through the process step by step. Whether you're a bit of a beginner* or looking to brush up on your skills, this event is perfect for all levels.

The workshop is held for 3 sessions over 6 weeks so you have plenty of time inbetween to get you knitting done ready for the next session.

Week 1- Saturday 1st Novemebr

In the first session we will get to pick what yarn you would like to use to create your own beautiful sweater ready for the autumn season.
learn how to knit in the round.
gain skills in the twisted rib technique.
learn all about increases & shaping

Week 2 - Saturday 15th November

learn how to seperate your knitting to create the sleeves and the body of your sweater.
learn all about shaping arms of garments using reductions.

Week 3 - Saturday 29th November

We'll be getting to grips with stretchy binds to give the perfect fit.
the finshing touches on your beautiful new jumper? Hooray!

Participants will be provided with all the yarn they will need for their project, needles and acesories will be provided on loan.

*Participants are required to now how to Knit &Purl prior to the event and we will teach the rest.
