Welcome to the Knit your first Sweater Vest course hosted by Manchester Wool & Yarn!
Join us for a fun and interactive in-person workshop, where we will meet up 3 times over a 6 week period to make your very first beautiful knitted sweater vest
Our experienced instructor will guide you through the process step by step, making sure you leave with a beautiful finished garment. Don't worry if you've youve just started your knitting jourey, as long as you can Knit & Purl we can show you the rest! Come down to Manchester Wool & Yarn and let's get knitting!
Week 1: Saturday 8th November - In week one you will get to pick your yarn and we'll guide you through the first steps of casting on your vest, sizing & knitting in the round. You will have a little bit of "homework" to do over the 2 weeks between workshops to catch up to the next step in week 2.
Week 2: Saturday 22nd November- In the secon week we will be teaching all about construction and building arm hole shapeing.
Week 3: Saturday 6th December In the Final week we will look at some fun cast off techniques, bind offs and finsihing off your brand new knitted sweater vest!
All yarn is provided & needles can be provided on loan as part of the workshop, although if you have your own set of circluar needles you like using please bring those along.
All Workshops will be between 4:30 - 7:30pm
