Knitting In The Round Workshop 6th May 2017
Sat 6 May 2017, 10:00 – 14:30 BST
So who hates having to sew up a hat when they've made it? Do you dream of being able to make socks? Have you seen people knitting with 3 large cocktail sticks and wondered what the hell was going on? This workshop with Gwen Wagner-Adair, from Petitchoufleur Knits gives you an introduction to the world of circular knitting, and gives you the skills to create seamless garments and accessories, as well as giving you a good grounding to learning how to tackle more advanced skills like sock knitting.
You'll create a seamless hat on circular needles; learn how to finish it off using the wonderful "magic loop" technique, and you'll get started on making some very handy wrist warmers on double pointed needles.
Sewing up is history, baby!
