Knitting Inspired Wall Hangings - Adult Workshop

Led by artist Jenny Stevenson, this hands-on workshop invites you to create a tactile hanging artwork inspired by the tools, textures and rhythms of the knitting industry.

Taking inspiration from the historic framework knitting process, you'll use wood, leather straps with eyelets and a variety of textured strips to build a vertical wall piece that echos the look and feel of knitting machines and stitches.

Suitable for adult and older teens.

Some experience of sewing is recommended to get the most out of this session.
