Tara Askham FMAAT is an award-winning finance trainer, published author and consultant who makes numbers simple for business owners. She delivers training globally and advises international accounting awarding bodies, alongside working with organisations including Volkswagen. Tara is a Women in Business Mentor for Santander, sits on the NatWest Social & Community Capital Charity funding panel, and is a mentor on Enterprise Nation’s Help to Grow programme. She won Small Business Britain's f:Entrepreneur #iAlso100 2025 and is a Theo Paphitis Small Business Sunday winner, where she spoke at his regional Bootcamp. What to Bring

This is a practical, hands-on session where you’ll be working on your own business numbers. Please bring:

• Your laptop (with Excel or Google Sheets installed)
• Your most recent accounts or financial information (P&L, cash flow, balance sheet – even if it’s just from your accounting software or a spreadsheet)

If you don’t have structured financial information, don’t worry. Bring what you do have – even if it’s a list of expenses, bank statements, or rough spreadsheets. We’ll work with what’s available and make sure it’s useful for you.
