Description

Knowing you, knowing me is the Basildon Community event to commemorate Black History Month. This evening promisses to engage and provide networking opportunities for the diverse communities in Basildon and surrounding areas. We are using this platform to showcase the best of ethnic minorities in Basildon.

Black History Month in the UK is a celebration of the achievements and contributions of black people around the world. Inaugurated by Ghanaian-born activist Akyaaba Addai-Sebo in 1987, it is also a time to remember and learn about the significant racial persecutions the black community has faced in the past.
