Knowledge Cafe: Together we can make a difference
Tuesday 18th October 2016 12:30noon - 2pm
FREE Lunch will be available between 12:30noon - 1pm, whilst you sign in and network.
Your contribution is important to us
We would like you as our local GP Practice to join us for lunch and a workshop to explore how we can work together to improve the life chances of children living in Bradford Moor, Bowling & Barkerend and Little Horton.
Better Start Bradford is a 10 year programme, funded by the Big Lottery, with 22 projects aiming to improve outcomes for children 0-3 years in three key areas: health and nutrition, social and emotional, language and communications. We work with a range of different partners including health professionals, early year’s practitioners, social care professionals, academics, volunteers and community organisations. We would like to explore how we can work in partnership with you - our local GP practices.
As well as GP, practice managers and safeguarding lead attendance, it may also be appropriate for a representative from your patient involvement group so please share this invitation with them too.
We really look forward to meeting you,
Better Start Bradford Team
If you are unable to attend, but would like to learn more and explore working together, then please get in touch and we can arrange an individual meeting with your GP practice. For further information please contact Dr Alix Fonfe (ST3 Paediatric Trainee, Leadership Fellow) on email@example.com
To help us to host you well with resources, catering and seating, please book your place by the 11th of October 2016. You are welcome to forward this email to invite those who may be interested in joining us on the day.
We hope you find this Knowledge Café both inspiring and informative.
These events bring together our Better Start Bradford workforce, provide a great place to network, make new and strengthen existing connections, also offer an opportunity for open and creative conversation, where we can share ideas and insight and gain a deeper understanding of the topics being discussed.
This is the first in the series of Knowledge Café Events which will happen in between our termly networking events. Knowledge Café will enhance our learning and deepen our understanding of pertinent hot topics relevant to Bradford and its children.
