Knowledge Exchange with Museum of Homelessness

Safe as Houses: Making Your Museum A Safe Haven in the Hardest Times

This Knowledge Exchange session will support learning from the Delivering Change programme, and is also open to anyone in the Scottish museum sector.

Join us on this Knowledge Exchange where we hear from The Museum of Homelessness who will share their knowledge and experience in working compassionately with trauma symptoms including addiction, depression and psychosis. They will share how they have created a site with and for the community which is safe, warm and welcoming. The session will include information on designing a museum that supports effective nervous system regulation for trauma survivors.

Please note this session will be recorded.

This meeting will be hosted on Zoom. Live captions will be available.
