Knowledge Transfer Partnerships (KTPs) bridge the gap between academic expertise and business ambition, turning ideas into tangible results. In this session, we’ll explore how the University of Salford partners with organisations to drive meaningful transformation—whether through streamlining operations, embedding new technologies, or developing innovative products and services. By combining research insight with practical application, KTPs act as powerful catalysts for growth and change. Join us to hear how businesses have benefitted from working with Salford and discover how your organisation could unlock new opportunities through collaboration.
Who is the session aimed at?
KTPs are relevant to all companies from all industries and UK-based locations, third sector and private, which have at least 5 employees. For companies which don’t meet this requirement, there are other streams/options which may be applicable to smaller projects.
For the session, we will be joined by:
- Brandon Young - Business Innovation Services, University of Salford
- A senior academic with experience delivering KTPs
- An industry partner who has delivered a KTP with Salford
