Known, Valued, Understood - Developing SEND Excellence
At Trinity Academy Grammar, 20% of our students have identified SEND needs - and we are proud to ensure every one of them is Known, Valued, and Understood.
In a context where many learners also face the challenges of EAL and socio-economic disadvantage, our approach to SEND is both compassionate and rigorous. This event offers a powerful opportunity to explore how we support a complex and diverse cohort, including high proportions of students with ASD, visual impairments, and moderate learning difficulties.
What You’ll Experience:
- Quality First Teaching: See how our SEND provision is built on a foundation of high-quality, inclusive teaching, supported by robust CPD and quality assurance.
- Wave Two Interventions: Learn how we deploy specialist TAs and targeted programmes to provide tailored support beyond the classroom.
- Specialist Provisions: Visit our ASD ARP and KS3 THRIVE provision to understand how we meet the needs of our most complex learners with care, structure, and ambition.
This event is ideal for SENDCos, senior leaders, and classroom practitioners looking to deepen their understanding of inclusive practice in a high-need setting.
