About this Event

Join us at RBC on our second day of Kodaly Inspired Learning.

Music educators, musicians, early years practitioners, students, school teachers, teaching assistants, community leaders - anyone that works with and want to inspire young people.. this is for you!

A day of practical activities for you to find out more about:

  • Singing games as a springboard to music literacy - this session will look at how to choose the best songs and games in order to prepare children for early literacy learning (rhythm & pitch) and the importance of working with a variety of different activities to encourage auditory, visual and kinaesthetic learning.
  • Kodály inspired work is relevant to the older beginner too: a session focussing on repertoire and activities to encourage early literacy skills which are relevant and age appropriate.
  • Preparing and presenting concepts in a clear structured way - one of the most important things in ensuring that we engage and support all children.

Register here to attend the event, however please do not register if you are not sure you are able to attend as this will limit places for other people.

Royal Birmingham Conservatoire is grateful to the Weingarten Trust for supporting this event and the programme for disseminating Kodály Inspired Learning.
